Initial training for 14 CFR Part 145 repair station management personnel. Eight modules take you from key terms and the FAA regulatory framework through Part 145 certification, housing and facilities, personnel and training, operating rules and quality systems, airworthiness directives, and Part 43 performance rules and maintenance records — closing with a final examination (80% pass) and a course completion badge.

What you will be able to do
By the end of this course you will be able to: explain the FAA regulatory framework governing certificated repair stations; apply Part 145 requirements for certification, housing, facilities, data, personnel and training; operate within the Subpart E and F operating rules and quality control system requirements; determine airworthiness directive applicability and the required compliance action; and apply Part 43 performance rules and maintenance-record requirements in daily repair station work.

Who it is for
Managers, supervisors and quality personnel at current or prospective Part 145 repair stations. No prior Part 145 experience is required.

How the course works

Time required
Approximately two and a half hours of self-paced learning. Leave and resume at any time.

Assessment policy
Knowledge checks: unlimited attempts, untimed, best score counts (pass mark 70%). Final examination: 80% to pass, results on submission.
