Maintenance Human Factors: Recognise Risk, Restore Defences. One complete self-paced online programme, estimated at about 10.5 hours (estimate subject to pilot revalidation). It builds the governing habit: Recognise the precursor → Protect the task → Restore the defence → Report the learning.
Using the Dirty Dozen, SHELL, PEAR and defence concepts, you will learn to see the system, recognise precursors, prepare and protect the task, transfer status, speak up, and restore and report — supporting practical choices, handovers, escalation and learning.
Module practices allow unlimited teaching attempts with immediate feedback. The separate Safety-Critical Check requires 100%. A final knowledge draw and an integrated capstone complete the course; the final pass mark and attempt rules will be confirmed before you begin the assessment. Completion earns the MHF Foundation badge — a training milestone only.
Training boundary: This course is a training aid. It grants no maintenance authority, does not replace current approved data or local procedures, and does not establish regulatory compliance by itself.
